Seasonal Fruit Export

Origin & varieties

Our mango is sourced from the established growing belts of Tamil Nadu and selected by variety to match how buyers merchandise it. Banganapalli is a large, oval, golden-yellow table mango with firm flesh that travels and displays well. Alphonso is a smaller, intensely aromatic dessert variety prized for its flavour. Totapuri is an elongated, comparatively firm mango favoured for slicing, foodservice and pulp processing. Counts, sizes and maturity profiles are indicative and confirmed per order so each consignment lands to an agreed specification.

Seasonal program & grades

Mango is a seasonal line — South Indian fruit moves broadly from March to July, with each variety peaking in its own window. We run a booking program so buyers can reserve loads ahead of a variety's peak rather than chase spot availability, smoothing supply across the season. Grading is carried out before packing by size and maturity, with each grade tied to a destination format, so retail-grade and processing-grade fruit are kept to distinct, agreed profiles. Seasonality and grade availability are indicative and confirmed at quotation.

Sea vs air freight & CA packing

For perishable fruit the freight mode is part of the spec. Air freight gives the shortest transit and suits premium retail of fruit nearer ripening; reefer sea freight in controlled-atmosphere or temperature-managed containers suits volume programs where transit time is longer and cost-per-kilo matters. Fruit is packed in single-layer corrugated cartons with trays or pads to protect each piece, with carton counts and net weights indicative and confirmed per order. The mode, temperature regime and pack are coordinated with your forwarder per consignment.

MOQ, markets & export documentation

Order volumes start from approximately one 20ft reefer load, and seasonal mango can be consolidated alongside our other fresh lines ex-Chennai when a buyer wants a mixed pallet; quantities, varieties and HS codes are confirmed per order at quotation. We supply supermarket retail and HORECA buyers across Qatar, the UAE and the wider GCC. We provide the full origin documentation set — commercial invoice with HS code, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and CoA/lab reports — with full export documentation available on request. For shipments to Qatar we provide the origin documentation your MoPH Certificate of Conformity and WATHEQ registration require, and fresh fruit enters Qatar duty-free under the GCC Unified Customs Law; for shipments to the UAE we provide the origin documentation your importer's clearance and any registration require. Certification programmes can be arranged for qualifying orders on request.

Banganapalli, Alphonso and Totapuri are our core export varieties. Banganapalli is a large oval table mango, Alphonso a smaller aromatic dessert mango, and Totapuri an elongated variety favoured for slicing and pulp. Counts and sizes are indicative and confirmed per order.
When is the Indian mango export season?
South Indian mango is broadly a March-to-July fresh season, with variety windows staggered across that period. We run a seasonal booking program so loads can be reserved ahead of each variety's peak; exact availability is indicative and confirmed at quotation.
Do you ship mango by sea or by air?
Both. Air freight suits short transit and premium retail of fully ripening fruit; reefer sea freight in controlled-atmosphere or temperature-managed containers suits volume programs to Qatar, the UAE and the wider GCC. We coordinate the mode with your forwarder per consignment.
How is export mango graded and packed?
Fruit is selected by variety to a size and maturity profile, then packed in single-layer corrugated cartons with trays or pads, with carton count and net weight indicative and confirmed per order. Packing suits both supermarket retail and HORECA distribution.
What documents do you provide for mango imports?
Commercial invoice with HS code, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and CoA/lab reports.
