Vaagai Vriksham Ventures is an India-based agri-food export house rooted in Tamil Nadu. We work across the entire food value chain — sourcing, value addition, grading, packaging, distribution and export — bringing fresh South Indian produce to international markets.
Our range spans fresh vegetables, Kolli Hills & Tamil Nadu spices, seasonal fruits and South Indian rice, supplied in bulk to buyer specifications with full export documentation. Under our consumer brand Farmigo, we turn selected native produce into retail-ready traditional foods for shelves at home and abroad.

Rooted across South India
Each crop in our range comes from the belt that grows it best. Fresh vegetables, coconut and seasonal fruits are drawn from the Tamil Nadu and Kerala plains, where year-round cultivation keeps supply steady. Aromatic black pepper and native produce come from the cooler slopes of the Kolli Hills, while turmeric is sourced from the traditional growing districts around Erode and Salem.
Our rice — including Seeraga Samba — is sourced from the fertile Cauvery delta, long regarded as the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. Working directly with growers across these regions lets us match each consignment to crop, season and buyer specification, and trace produce back to its origin.
Founder & export lead
Alagesan Palanivelu
Hands-on in agriculture since 2011, and exporting since 2024. Before founding Vaagai Vriksham Ventures in May 2024, his career spanned EMBYE, a posting with Qatar Rail (Dec 2016 – May 2018), and freelance operations work across hospitals in Tamil Nadu, including Paavai Medical College (2022–2025). The Farmigo retail range is his most recent addition to the business.
Built to be export-ready
From the field to the freight forwarder, we manage the value chain end to end so buyers receive consistent, well-documented consignments.
Produce is cleaned, dried, milled or processed as the crop requires, then graded and packed to agreed quality specifications. Bulk and retail formats are prepared with full export documentation handled at origin, so consignments move smoothly through customs and into our partners' supply chains.
We currently export to Qatar and are entering Malaysia and the UAE, with private-label and contract-packing options for distributors, importers and retailers across the GCC and South-East Asia. Our aim is simple: be a single, dependable South Indian sourcing partner that buyers can scale with.
